I built BamFleet to make managing a 3D-printing fleet easier from wherever I am. Rather than being tied to a desktop dashboard or checking each machine individually, BamFleet brings key print information, controls, and monitoring into a focused mobile experience. It connects with existing Bambuddy servers, giving makers, print-farm operators, and anyone running multiple printers a practical way to stay on top of their machines in real time.
BamFleet provides live printer-status updates alongside remote job controls, so I can pause or stop a print and adjust relevant settings without needing to be beside the printer. A streamlined job queue helps keep work moving, while the live camera view makes it possible to check progress visually when a print needs attention. The app is designed around the details that matter during day-to-day operations: knowing what is printing, what is waiting, and which machines need intervention.
Filament management is also central to the project. BamFleet tracks filament spools and inventory, helping make material availability clearer before the next job begins. Past prints are retained in an archive for quick reference and easy reprinting, turning previous work into a useful resource rather than a disconnected history. Currently in TestFlight beta, BamFleet is being refined into a dependable mobile companion for a more organised, responsive, and efficient 3D-print workflow.
